WHAT IS AN EMERGENCY CALL OPERATOR?

An emergency call operator answers the calls made to the emergency call centre, collects and verifies the information given by the caller that is required for the emergency response, evaluates the nature and urgency of calls, handles the call immediately in accordance with the established protocols, dispatches the required emergency responders, and assists the caller as needed, until the responders arrive on the scene.

Requirements

Exigence

High school diploma;

No criminal record;

Available for day, evening, night and weekend shifts;

Touch typing skills;

Being bilingual is an undeniable advantage.
